What if a young girl rejects reality by investigating a missing person during Community Theater? Set in the early 1990s, "WALLPAPER" is a 10 - 15 minute Mystery/Drama Short Film that explores grief, relationships, and the idea that closure comes from unexpected places. We follow Logan, the main character, who investigates a missing person's case within her town, but is set-back when she is forced by her father (Mr. Surano) into a Community Theatre program. During her stay at the program, she finds herself a room to carry out her investigation in secret. During the film, Logan experiences strange fractures between reality and a vision of a beach with a figure. She attempts to get closer to this mysterious figure, but is always pulled out of the vision by an external force in reality such as a phone call or a falling book. Logan is re-acquainted to an old friend named Robert, who she uses to carry out a search in a nearby woods for the missing person. In the end, Logan has a breakdown and can no longer see reality and finds herself on the beach, finally getting closer to the mysterious figure. It turns out to be her mother, who recently passed away, and this ends Logan's visions and gives closure to her mother's death. Logan begins to open up and connect with Robert about her mother passing, and she finally accepts her reality as it is.

Her character requires a lot of emotional strength and realism as she is very harsh and experiences breakdowns in the script.
