Film Synopsis:
This is a Mystery/Drama about a young lady named LOGAN who investigating a missing person.Her  father forces her into doing Community Theatre thinking this she will help her engage with people more however that lead her doing the opposite as she find herself carrying an investigation in secret. The film examine grief, relationships and the idea closure from unexpected places.

What if a young girl rejects reality by investigating a missing person during Community Theater? Set in the early 1990s, "WALLPAPER" is a 10 - 15 minute Mystery/Drama Short Film that explores grief, relationships, and the idea that closure comes from unexpected places. We follow Logan, the main character, who investigates a missing person's case within her town, but is set-back when she is forced by her father (Mr. Surano) into a Community Theatre program. During her stay at the program, she finds herself a room to carry out her investigation in secret. During the film, Logan experiences strange fractures between reality and a vision of a beach with a figure. She attempts to get closer to this mysterious figure, but is always pulled out of the vision by an external force in reality such as a phone call or a falling book. Logan is re-acquainted to an old friend named Robert, who she uses to carry out a search in a nearby woods for the missing person. In the end, Logan has a breakdown and can no longer see reality and finds herself on the beach, finally getting closer to the mysterious figure. It turns out to be her mother, who recently passed away, and this ends Logan's visions and gives closure to her mother's death. Logan begins to open up and connect with Robert about her mother passing, and she finally accepts her reality as it is.

Logan is a 17 year old female who has an interest for investigating cases in her small town. This hobby gets out of control when her mother suddenly passes away, and Logan begins to isolate herself from the world to focus on her hobby-turned-obsession. Her character requires a lot of emotional strength and realism as she is very harsh and experiences breakdowns in the script.

Logan is MIXED RACE. Logan's facial characteristics include wide/open, inquisitive eyes; distinct features (freckles / square jaw / etc.); chin length to medium long hair. Tends to be reserved, short tempered, sharp focus, and has a natural look.

Robert is an 18 year old male who enjoys Drama and is an old acquaintance of Logan. During the film, he aids as well as angers Logan, progressing the story as a supporting character. Robert acts as a bridge to reality and in the end, Logan opens up to him about her mother's death. His character requires a kind-hearted/naive disposition.

Robert is a lanky built male. He has dark short - medium long hair, and soft facial features. Has a short attention span and loves the theatre.

Mr. Surano is a 54 year old Caucasian male and father to Logan. Since he recently lost his wife, he is emotionally drained and dealing with the loss slowly. He feels lost with his daughter and thinks signing her up to Community Theatre might help her move forward, especially because of her new obsession with a missing person's investigation.

Mr. Surano is a slightly overweight/larger build Caucasian male. His appearance includes heavy stubble and small, hazel eyes. He is messy and over-tired. Reference character for this role is Russell Crowe in "Body of Lies".

Howard is a 37 year old male Drama teacher who enjoys positively influencing his pupils. Howard acts as a mentor and tries to teach the Dramatic arts in hopes of a positive change in people's confidence and abilities.

Howard is an average built Caucasian male . He has rounded features, a small beard, well-kept short hair with slight greying on sides, with a friendly/helpful disposition. Confident, loud, uses hands for expression.
