For our documentary we are looking at the Stereotypes of three country which is Russia , America and Tanzania. This is just the examples of media representation on the country, and if this  representation  influence opinion of the 3 countries.

Reggie Yates: Extreme Russia

There have been a recent documentary about Russian extremest that the BBC have put forward, documented by Reggie Yates. He explore the the influence of Putin's have on the community  with posters and Russian protests that disallow gay rights in the country, also the Russian Gangs that support, have potentially beaten and killed civilian only by the racial and sexual preferences.

Since this documentary right wing is made by the BBC the documentary is made with 'voice of God' documentary most of the opinion that have been said was by Reggie Yates himself, so his opinion and narrative of the story can change our perspective of what we thing of Russia.

In a lot of News reports  Russia as well, it  Russia is always have been look down upon as a nation we don't usually see the other side of the story or nuance of people from Russia that are different from what we hear and see on TV. Our only thought are from what we only see, so therefore effects emotionally or politically or decision making based upon a media.

African Misrepresentation by Media

This mini-clip explain the consent issue raised by Hollywood mainstream media that we choose to believe in , Hollywood show same traits in most of here films and having a white protagonist in every film that 'save the day' in a poor corrupted continent like Africa, however people are mislead the fact these are only fictional characters and the have been exaggerated by the preference of entertainment and thrill.

However these 4 African men shows the really traits of being African based by their studies and career and their love of sport, exploring different values to expand our mind in what we know about Africa.




This is also another example that I have find which is an short clip from Aljerzeera that show statistic and fact that we may not know about Africa. This clip back up our documentary as it show fundamental facts  that we have believed which is not entirely true.





Steven Fry documentary about America has is also about ones person opinion about there experience and journey to America, this American football sums up the idea of them thinking that there a powerful nation, with lots of cheerleaders and big crowds celebrating, the football match everything is a grand scale.
